SUPPORT GROUP FOR NEWCOMER WOMEN
On Thursday, November 29, 2018, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm,
Alana the wellness counsellor from the Dixie Bloor Neighborhood’s Centre will be hosting a support group for newcomer women.
This support group will run twice a month and will be an open session where women can comfortably speak about their concerns while receiving support from Alana and their fellow peers.
Alana will also be focusing on issues such as coping with stress, parenting teenagers, providing guest speakers and topics that the group would like to discuss.
It is a great way to help women develop a sense of belonging in their community, express and address their concerns/issues and receive helpful resources.
