SummerFest 2019

SummerFest, hosted by Dixie Bloor Neighbourhood Centre (DBNC) with partners Burnhamthorpe Community Centre, The Living Arts Centre, City of Mississauga and local talent, is an annual outdoor event celebrating our neighbourhood. DBNC has been operating for 31 years and a community festival has always been part the activities.

Please join us on Saturday, June 15, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Burnhamthorpe Community Centre for a FREE family event.

Join us at 11:00 a.m. for the Indigenous Community Opening Ceremony.

Last year, over 2,000 community members resisted the downpour and attended SummerFest 2018. The Dixie Bloor Neighbourhood Centre team was delighted to experience the enthusiastic participation and strong fellowship the community feels for the agency after 30 years of service to the community.

Entertainment is a big part of SummerFest. This year we are once again looking at stellar performances representing the diversity of the community at Dixie Bloor Neighbourhood Centre

After the official opening by the indigenous community, we will showcase cultural dance from one of the many nations who call this territory home.

The following is a list of other groups that will feast our heart and soul with wonderful music and dances.

These are some of the amazing talents joining the stage at SummerFest 2019
