What is LINC classes?

LINC English Classes are for newcomers who are 18+ years old who have Landed Immigrant or Convention Refugee status. Get support from friendly, professional, and experienced instructors to improve how you communicate with others in English.

Classes aim to help you improve your self-confidence by using English in your daily life activities. They will also ease your integration into the Canadian culture, and improve your skills to get better jobs. Our classes will help you pass your citizenship test, and get you comfortable with computers.

LINC stands for Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada. It is one of the free immigrant settlement services funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

  • Landed Immigrant (Permanent Resident) or 
  • Convention Refugee  
  • Must have Canadian Language Benchmarks 
  • Placement Test (CLBPT) done at one of the Assessment Centers (free of charge)
