What is Orientation – Settlement Program?
This program offers various services to assist newcomers in overcoming the unique challenges they encounter. These services include providing information to help make informed decisions, offering language training, and supporting the development of networks within their new communities. Additionally, the program guides understanding rights and responsibilities and how to engage fully in all aspects of Canadian life.
The program is supported by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and works with various service providers to deliver these services. The goal is to help newcomers embark on their long-term integration process with the same opportunities as other Canadians.
